Local Impact

By shopping locally, you contribute to keeping neighborhoods vibrant and full of life, having a local business community that is thriving, and healthy greatly impacts on the world we all live in. By simply taking care of our neighbor, we can all make a difference, and shopping in your local communities does just that.

As a local shop, our goal is to do big things in small ways. We are very grateful to be able to have a local impact on the community we work and live within Seattle. By being a patron of our shop, you are partnering with us to feed our community, and here are some of the ways we are working to have an impact.  We have been able to donate money to local youth and family shelters, food banks, mental health and women's health organizations.
we are also ongoing contributors to the following organizations,

Queen Anne Farmers Market - (qafm.org)

Building Community. Supporting Farmers. Championing Local.  Supporting our local farmers market was top on Kirsty’s list when we began our Queen Anne Frame & Gift journey, she wouldn’t have it any other way. It’s a Thursday evening tradition from June-October. We are a proud sponsor of Queen Anne Farmers Market and distributor of the QAFM poster. And yes, we have posters from every year, including the beloved Beets.

Local School Auctions.  Give Big - Build a Better Tomorrow.

We love to support school auctions and will never say no to contributing.  One of our favorite ways to partner is framing school auction art, there is so much creativity in kids and we get to see children’s masterpieces come to life and celebrated while helping to raise important funding for our schools. We have partnered with QAE, COE, John Hay, St Anne’s & Seattle Country Day. As a family that attends our neighborhood school, this area of impact has an even greater importance.

Queen Anne Little League - (qall.org)

Growing up with a baseball in his hand, one of Nick’s dreams has been realized seeing our Queen Anne Frame & Gift logo across a little league jersey. A positive experience in team sports can develop life-long skills, learning to work with teammates to get the best result, listening to a coach, even the lesson of an umpire who might not get the call right yet you have to dust yourself off and persevere. Winning gracefully and losing with dignity, all contributes to good sportsmanship!  There are very few places you can gain that experience at a young age. Queen Anne Little League is a great organization and we proudly sponsor a single A team each year.

Humble Design - (Humbledesign.org) - Furnishing homes for families transitioning from homelessness.

This is a wonderful way for us to donate time and resources, partnering with Humble Design to frame meaningful memories and moments, creating inspiring spaces for deserving families celebrating new beginnings.

Our mission is to serve individuals, families, and veterans emerging from homelessness by transforming their empty house into a warm, welcoming, and uplifting home with donated furniture and household goods. Their design teams personalize home by providing a dignified, life-changing experience for clients.

“We believe in restoring dignity to every family that has suffered homelessness.”
